Description

Join us for a spectacular evening with Out There: A National Parks Story, an award-winning, feature-length documentary that explores the enduring power of America’s public lands. This one-time event offers a live music performance, exclusive film screening, and conversation with the director, celebrating the wonder of national parks and the stories that connect us all.

Watch film trailer: https://www.outthere.film/

The film follows director Brendan Hall and his childhood friend as they set off in the centennial year of the National Park Service on a 10,000-mile journey through America’s parks. What begins as a summer road trip becomes a seven-year odyssey, capturing untold stories of those who protect, visit, and find healing in these wild places.

Through intimate interviews, breathtaking cinematography, and a moving original score, the film reveals the parks as more than landscapes—they are places of reflection, resilience, and connection across generations and cultures. Both a stunning visual tribute and a grassroots love letter, Out There reimagines what it means to belong in the natural world and the power of public lands to bring us back to ourselves.

Get there early!  At 6 pm, the doors open for you to visit with some of WNP's national park and community partners and browse gifts and gear from Western National Parks—every purchase supports more than 70 national park sites across 12 states.

At 7 pm, the evening begins with a live performance from composer Elizabeth P.W., the creative force behind the film’s evocative score.

Following the film, stay for a Q&A with Brendan Hall. Share questions and conversations with fellow national park enthusiasts.
