Surrounded by the lush gardens and beneath the evening sky, enjoy an inspiring program of audience favorites led by Music Director Roberto Minczuk. From the excitement of John Williams' iconic Superman March and Bernstein's sparkling Candide Overture to the infectious rhythms of Florence Price's Juba Dance, Holst's vibrant St. Paul's Suite, and the exhilarating finale of Dvořák's Symphony No. 8, this concert offers something for everyone. The evening concludes with Sousa's timeless The Stars and Stripes Forever, making for a joyful Labor Day weekend celebration. Bring a blanket or chair, pack a picnic, and settle in for an unforgettable evening of marvelous music.
Parking Information:
A free park & ride shuttle service will run from the Zoo parking lot at 903 10th St. SW to the Botanic Garden. Park & ride service will start at 6:00 pm and return shuttles will run until 9:30.
Gates open at 6:00 p.m. Performance starts at 7:15 p.m.
