Description

The final Zoo Music of the summer will be sure to entertain with a performance by Taimane, a hapa Sāmoan artist (part indigenous Sāmoan and part Caucasian) born and raised in Hawai‘i. She has established herself as an artist-to-watch as a virtuoso and songwriter best known for her fierce and inventive style of playing the ukulele. From Bach to Led Zeppelin, flamenco infernos to tribal hymns, Taimane’s artistic vision is boundless. She will rock her ukulele at 7 p.m.
Slither into adventure as this evening’s featured area is the Reptile Building! Check out the new murals, then get ready for some seriously jaw-dropping moments from exciting reptile feedings to training sessions and keeper chats.
Dive into discovery stations and uncover the fascinating world of snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, alligators, and crocodiles. There’s something new to learn at every turn.
As you explore the Reptiles, let the cool sounds of blues and rock from local band Secret 7 Duo set the vibe for a night that’s equal parts wild and unforgettable.
Gates open at 6 p.m. Performance starts at 7 p.m.
